Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between First Last (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses the shot to the body.

It looks like First Last has been cut.
Last throws a hook but Martin avoids it easily.

First Last seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Last ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Martin moves away.
Last shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Martin but Martin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Martin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Last backs up against the cage.

No luck for Last with that takedown attempt.
Last misses with an uppercut.
Last wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Last. Martin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Last tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Last somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for First Last. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Martin clobbers Last with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Last creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Martin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin is looking to regain half guard here but Last keeps moving and retains side control.
Martin is not content to let Last control the position.
Martin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Last has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Last! Martin is hurt baaadly! Last is firing away with more strikes - Martin is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
