Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Koji Hisaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Sendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sendo moves into the clinch.
Hisaki prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sendo tries to pull guard but Hisaki won't allow it.

Sendo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hisaki is trying to keep an underhook but Sendo manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Hisaki slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Hisaki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sendo has picked Hisaki up and slammed him! Hisaki can't keep hold of the triangle and Sendo manages to pass to side control!

Hisaki is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sendo has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Sendo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hisaki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sendo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Hisaki wants to control but Sendo postures up.

Sendo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hisaki is looking for a sweep.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hisaki stuffs the takedown.
Koji Hisaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeshi Sendo.

Sendo is trying to keep Hisaki in close.
Sendo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hisaki wants to stand but Sendo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Sendo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hisaki defends it easily.

Sendo shoots in for a takedown but Hisaki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hisaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sendo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sendo tries to clinch but Hisaki is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sendo rolls, trying to escape but Hisaki keeps control of the position.
Hisaki connects with a big shot to the side of Sendo's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hisaki lands an elbow to the side of the head.
I really don't envy Sendo right now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hisaki working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Sendo is doing well to defend. Hisaki seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Sendo is forced to tap and this one is over!
