Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez tries to clinch there but Da Hammer circles away.

Da Hammer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sanchez did well to prevent Da Hammer getting side control.
Sanchez wants to get back to full guard.
Sanchez is refusing to be controlled, as Da Hammer sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Da Hammer is controlling the pace.
Da Hammer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sanchez!

I looks like Da Hammer might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Sanchez is trying to control Da Hammer's posture but Da Hammer avoids it.

You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sanchez throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Da Hammer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Let's hope that Da Hammer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Nammer Da Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
