The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Veneracion.
Campos throws a wild body kick that Veneracion sees coming a mile off.
Veneracion cracks Campos with a right hand to the side of the head.
Campos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Veneracion is fending him off so far but Campos persists. Nope, Veneracion circles away and we're back to standing.
Campos moves in looking to clinch but Veneracion pushes him off.
Veneracion punishes Campos's body with a nice straight punch.
Campos dives in and grabs Veneracion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Veneracion pushes down on Campos's head and hops out.
Campos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Karl Veneracion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Siqueira Campos.
Campos scores with a takedown into Veneracion's guard.
Campos is posturing up here but Veneracion has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Campos tries to roll out but it's too tight and Campos has to tap! Slick submission there by Veneracion!
