The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moskavony slaps away a takedown attempt from Lockheart, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lockheart should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Moskavony tries for a takedown but Lockheart circles away easily

and Lockheart counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moskavony's guard now.
Moskavony is trying to keep Lockheart in close.
Moskavony has Lockheart pulled in close to control his posture.
Moskavony will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Moskavony has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lockheart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Moskavony really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round but I would say that Gary Moskavony will probably get the nod.

Moskavony stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lockheart swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

What can Lockheart do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Moskavony is looking for the choke from the back position but Lockheart is controlling his hands well.
Moskavony slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Lockheart is keeping busy.

Moskavony is working for a rear naked choke. Lockheart is not defending it well and Moskavony has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lockheart refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lockheart's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
