The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bapp shoots in but Viking avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bapp looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bapp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Viking slips a straight right by Bapp.
Horrible takedown by Bapp or perhaps it was just good defense by Viking which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sob Bapp. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bapp fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bapp throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viking's waist but Viking gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bapp off to one side.
Sob Bapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bapp fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Viking avoids it really well and circles away.

Viking lands a big right hand that sends Bapp crashing to the mat! Viking stays standing though and waves Bapp back to his feet!

It looks like Sob Bapp has been cut.
