Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Smashing Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in but no luck this time.
Alves looks gassed!
Machine lands a right hook to the body.
Machine lands a slapping body shot.
Machine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alves, pushing him back against the cage.
Machine tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Alves just stands there and leans against the cage.
Machine changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Alves fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Machine comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Alves keeps the fight on the outside.
Machine with a nice cross.
Machine scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Roberto Alves has been cut.
Machine lands with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alves takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Nice uppercut lands for Machine. That snapped Alves's head back.
Alves is rocked!
Machine is looking to wear down Alves with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Machine fakes the body blow, causing Alves to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Alves goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
