Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taite Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Forlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gordon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Whistlin' Dixie. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Forlan misses.
Forlan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gordon.
Nice uppercut lands for Gordon. That snapped Forlan's head back.
The fighters circling - Forlan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gordon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Forlan checks a leg kick.
Gordon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Forlan circles away quickly and effectively.
Gordon is looking to clinch but Forlan is avoiding it.

Forlan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Forlan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Forlan duly obliges.
Gordon misses with a low kick as Forlan jumps back.

Gordon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Forlan.

Forlan throws an overhand right that lands on Gordon's shoulder, as Gordon tries to avoid the shot.
Forlan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gordon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Forlan counters with a left to the body.
Gordon is breathing heavily.
Forlan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gordon looks to land a combination but Forlan avoids it well.
Forlan closes the distance and clinches up with Gordon, looking for a takedown. Forlan pushes Gordon against the ropes but Gordon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gordon doesn't manage to clinch there - Forlan circles away.

and Forlan counters with a nice uppercut.

Forlan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gordon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Gordon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Forlan throws a pinpoint strike between Gordon's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Gordon crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Forlan scores a great knockout victory!
