Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Frederman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Vertigo - U2 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bret Hart was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bret Hart!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederman throws a series of punches but Hart avoids them all with ease.

Hart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Frederman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hart not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Frederman controls Hart momentarily but Hart frees himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hart throws an elbow but Frederman slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hart uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frederman.

and Hart counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hart wants to control from the top but Frederman keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hart is fighting to break Frederman's control of his arms but Frederman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
