Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Caceres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caeas Liege (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liege is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ecstasy of Gold. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caceres throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Liege drives through with a takedown into guard.
Liege working some strikes from top position.
Caceres utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Caceres wants to get back to his feet but Liege is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Liege is looking to work some ground and pound but Caceres has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liege seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Liege drops back looking for a leg! Caceres is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Caceres manages to kick Liege off! Liege jumps back into Caceres's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Liege fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Caceres on the side of the head.

Liege closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Liege lands in his opponent's guard.
Caceres is pulling down on Liege's head. It's preventing any offense from Liege, at least for the moment.

Liege decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Caceres, up you get!

Liege shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Caceres is trying to defend but Liege finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liege is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Liege is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Caceres defends it well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Liege throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Liege seems to be working for a kimura but Caceres defends the submission attempt.

Liege looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Liege has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Caceres tries to kick Liege off in order to stand up. Liege Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Caceres is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Liege asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Caceres is looking for a sweep.

Liege thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Liege lands a few punches from side control.

Caceres tries to improve position but can't.
Caceres gets back to half guard.

Liege is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Caceres is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
