Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wando Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christobal Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Kasta - Normal'no vsyo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jenkins tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
Jenkins shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jenkins clinches up against the cage.

Jenkins breaks from the clinch.

Jenkins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jenkins wants to break free but Silva has control.
Jenkins looking for a takedown.
Silva on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jenkins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wando Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christobal Jenkins.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Silva.
Jenkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jenkins fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jenkins doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Jenkins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jenkins tries to clinch up.
Jenkins tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Jenkins.
Jenkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jenkins lands with a thumping leg kick.

Jenkins throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Jenkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Jenkins.
Silva blocks a jab.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jenkins gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Silva counters with a body kick.
Jenkins looks gassed!
Jenkins closes the distance looking to clinch

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva.
Jenkins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wando Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jenkins tries to clinch but Silva moves away
and Silva makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Crunch! Silva slams his shin into Jenkins's torso.
Jenkins keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jenkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jenkins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.
Jenkins darts in trying to clinch
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.

Silva darts in and clinches Jenkins up against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Silva is pushing Jenkins up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Silva pulls guard effortlessly.

Silva has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jenkins doesn't defend quickly enough and Silva has managed to lock this one up! Can Jenkins escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Silva on a fantastic submission victory.
