Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hash Ishe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ishe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ishe is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
Jones controls the position.
Ishe tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ishe wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Ishe manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Ishe has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ishe wants to stand back up but Jones manages to pass into side control.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ishe is letting Jones control him for a moment.

Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ishe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ishe tries to escape but Jones is in control.
Ishe is trying to work for a sweep but Jones has mounted him!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ishe is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Jones punching from mount but Ishe doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Ishe wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Jones throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ishe because Jones loaded up on that one.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ishe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ishe throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ishe lands with an overhand left.
Ishe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.

Hash Ishe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ishe is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ishe is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jones wants to control from the top but Ishe keeps moving.
Ishe wants to improve his position but instead Jones has moved into half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ishe doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Ishe fights it but they end up in guard.
