The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Jamess shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jamess in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Jamess keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silva's head.
Jamess tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.

Jamess trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away.
Jamess is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Silva is not content to let Jamess control the position.
Jamess trying to mount his opponent but Silva defends it.
Jamess has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jamess looking to finish Silva with some ground and pound. This is bad for Silva!

Jamess uses his free foot to push down on Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silva.

Jamess is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Silva is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Silva flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jamess anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Silva and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jamess slips an arm under Silva chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jamess has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jamess is squeezing on Silva like an anaconda would it's prey. Silva fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
