Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to LL Cool J - Mamma Said Knock You Out. James has chosen We Want The Funk by George Clinton & the P-Funk Allstars as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James slips a jab from Thompson.
Thompson takes a swing at James's ribcage but misses.
A slow jab from Thompson misses its intended target.
James misses with a wild combination.

It looks like Calvin Thompson has been cut.
Thompson throws a solid leg kick but James takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Thompson.
Thompson misses with a hook. James ducked under it nicely.
Thompson throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
James loads up on a big right hand but Thompson slips the punch.
Thompson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Thompson ducks under a wild hook from James.
Thompson moves out of range as James strikes.

Thompson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thompson throws a looping overhand right but James ducks down to avoid it.

and James counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

James forces Thompson back against the cage and clinches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Thompson.
A right handed body shot lands from Thompson.
Nice body punch from Thompson - that landed with a thud.
James keeps control of Thompson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
James tries to circle away but Thompson has him pinned against the cage.
Thompson lands a shoulder strike.
James has a couple of punches blocked by Thompson.

Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James gets cracked there but stands up to it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson misses with an uppercut.
Thompson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thompson, as that shot connected.
Thompson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.

Thompson throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thompson misses the body punch
and James makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Thompson throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
James takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Thompson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
James avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Calvin Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson misses with a body punch
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
James jabs Thompson right on the nose. Thompson blinks but takes it well.
Thompson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
James bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Thompson scores with a nice head shot.

Thompson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Thompson drops James with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but James looks back up at him and smiles so Thompson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

James is rocked!
Thompson flashes James a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. James's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. James crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Thompson punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
