The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OBrien throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kauffman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kauffman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but OBrien was well out of range. Poor timing from Kauffman.
Kauffman connects with a crisp jab.
OBrien throws a hook but Kauffman avoids it easily.

It looks like Chad Kauffman has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Kauffman lands an impressive looking overhand right. OBrien doesn't seem phased though.
Joe OBrien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OBrien might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

OBrien throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
OBrien is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kauffman lands with a big right hook that stumbles OBrien - he's out on his feet here! Kauffman follows up with another monster hook that separates OBrien from consciousness! OBrien falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kauffman stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
