Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Furcal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris has chosen Let The Bodies Hit The Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Morris has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike Furcal's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris throws a hook to the side of Furcal's head but Furcal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Morris gets the takedown into side control.
Morris tries to advance to mount but Furcal instead regains half guard.
Morris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Furcal's head.
Morris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morris drops back, looking for a kneebar! Furcal looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Furcal looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Furcal!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Morris dives in and grabs Furcal's left leg, looking for a takedown. Furcal pushes down on Morris's head and hops out.
