Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DepaC Pakamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neki Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neki Daniels has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with DepaC Pakamara's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, DepaC Pakamara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Neki Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pakamara misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Pakamara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Daniels not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Daniels keeping moving, preventing Pakamara from controlling successfully.
Daniels looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Daniels is trying to control the position but Pakamara postures up.
Daniels keeping full guard, as Pakamara tries to pass.
Pakamara controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pakamara swings for the body but Daniels moves out of range.

Pakamara gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Daniels to score an easy takedown into full guard.

and Pakamara counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pakamara moves nicely into side control.
Daniels is not content to let Pakamara control the position.
Daniels stops Pakamara from passing to mount.

Pakamara advances nicely into full mount.

Pakamara is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Daniels is surviving well by controlling Pakamara's body position as best he can.
Daniels tries to hold on but Pakamara pushes him away.
Pakamara lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Daniels takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daniels is wriggling around trying to escape.
Daniels looks gassed!
Daniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pakamara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Daniels wants to control but Pakamara is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Pakamara stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Daniels looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pakamara is one step ahead there.
Pakamara pushing down on Daniels's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Pakamara is trying to control the action in half guard but Daniels is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pakamara seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

DepaC Pakamara dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Pakamara drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Daniels's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Daniels is letting Pakamara control him for a moment.

Pakamara tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pakamara has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pakamara in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Daniels gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Daniels is breathing heavily.

Pakamara seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Daniels does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Daniels has one foot on Pakamara's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Daniels gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pakamara counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Daniels is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pakamara connects with a decent elbow.

Pakamara has hold of Daniels's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Daniels seems comfortable defending it but Pakamara has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Daniels is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Daniels is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pakamara couldn't care less - he's delighted!
