Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonna Bust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paiva comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm . The crowd seem to be enjoying Bust's choice of entrance music: X. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bust is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Paiva.

It looks like Gonna Bust has been cut.
Bust walks into a straight right hand from Paiva.
Paiva misses with a looping left.
Bust misses with a hook. Paiva ducked under it nicely.
Bust swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Paiva counters with a straight right hand.

Paiva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bust manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bust has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Paiva tries to throw a body punch but Bust avoids it by throwing Paiva back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Paiva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Paiva keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bust's efforts to push away.

Paiva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gonna Bust seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bust throws a sloppy head kick
and Paiva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bust thinking.

Bust throws a hook but Paiva avoids it easily.
Paiva tries to bum rush Bust with a series of wild strikes but Bust uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bust throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bust bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bust moves out of range of the strikes.

Paiva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bust.
Paiva looks to land a right hand but Bust moved out of range.

Bust blocks a body shot from Paiva.

Bust swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bust has had enough of the clinch but Paiva keeps him there for the moment.

Paiva lands with a good body shot.
Paiva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bust has time to react.

That has opened up Gonna Bust's cut even more.
Paiva's corner calls for a 1-2. Paiva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bust throws a lazy right hand but Paiva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Paiva lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bust backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bust clinches but Paiva breaks the clinch
letting Paiva counter with a right hand.

The cut above Gonna Bust's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bust looks to score with a jab to the body but Paiva is just out of range.

Paiva slips under a jab.
Paiva lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bust throws a head kick that misses.
Bust loads up on a big right hand but Paiva slips the punch.
Bust wants to clinch
and Paiva counters with a nice uppercut.

Gonna Bust's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Nice shot lands for Paiva.
Bust misses the shot to the body.

Bust closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bust doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A short body shot lands from Paiva as the two fighters clinch.
Bust swings wildly with an uppercut but Paiva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Paiva lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Bust.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Paiva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Paiva ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Paiva is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Paiva lunges at Bust with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bust's hand.
