Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paq Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Xystorophroi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paq Yu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Xavier Xystorophroi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paq Yu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xavier Xystorophroi!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yu closes the distance and clinches.
Xystorophroi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Yu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yu kicks Xystorophroi off and gets to his feet.

Yu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Xystorophroi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Xystorophroi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Yu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Xystorophroi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Yu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Yu wants a takedown but no success here.

Xystorophroi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Paq Yu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Xystorophroi.
Xystorophroi prevents Yu from breaking the clinch.
Xystorophroi can't break the clinch.
Xystorophroi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Xystorophroi is looking to control Yu's arms but Yu gets an underhook and turns him. Now Xystorophroi has his back to the cage.

Yu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Yu manages to end up in side control.

Yu happy to just control the position for now.
Yu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Yu stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Xystorophroi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yu defends it nicely.
Xystorophroi looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xystorophroi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yu circles away.
Xystorophroi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Yu rushes Xystorophroi and presses him up against the cage.
Yu manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Yu wants the takedown. Xystorophroi is fighting it off but Yu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Xystorophroi's guard against the cage.
Yu's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Yu drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Yu as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Xystorophroi screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Yu! Nice submission victory there!
