Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rave Yohance Rayo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ash Dafter!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rayo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dafter sprawls well. Dafter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rayo gets slowly back to his feet.
Dafter looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dafter wants to clinch up but Rayo keeps it at a distance.
Rayo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dafter's waist but Dafter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rayo off to one side.
Dafter misses with the combination.
Rayo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dafter sprawls well initially but Rayo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rayo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rayo is keen to just control but Dafter is a slippery customer.

Rayo trying to control the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rayo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dafter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dafter is not content to let Rayo control the position.
Dafter is trying to maintain the position but Rayo is very close to passing his half guard.
Rayo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dafter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rayo.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rayo has closed the distance and engaged Dafter in a clinch.
Rayo lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Rayo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rayo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rayo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rayo is looking to sweep but instead, Dafter has passed into half guard.
Rayo is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dafter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dafter tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rayo trying to hold on to Dafter's head to control him but Dafter postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A punch lands to the side of Dafter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rayo dives in and grabs Dafter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dafter pushes down on Rayo's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rave Yohance Rayo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rayo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dafter scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Rayo tries to get to full guard but Dafter has control of the leg.
Dafter is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dafter postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Rayo to stand up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rayo tries for a takedown but Dafter circles away easily
and Dafter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rayo won't be happy with that.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ash Dafter dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dafter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rayo tries to avoid it but Dafter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rayo to the ground. Rayo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rayo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dafter counters with a thumping low kick.
Rayo with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rayo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dafter as he avoids it easily.
A left and a right from Rayo both land. Nice combination.
Rayo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dafter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rayo somewhat.

Dafter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rayo's half guard.
Rayo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dafter on the ground.

Dafter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rayo is looking to improve his position.

Dafter prevents Rayo from standing back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dafter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Rayo looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rayo tries to get to full guard but Dafter has control of the leg.
Dafter stops Rayo from getting back to his feet.

Dafter stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Rayo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dafter to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dafter stands and steps away. Rayo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dafter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dafter prevents Rayo from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rayo manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Rayo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dafter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rayo wants to improve his position but Dafter is controlling well.
Dafter is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Rayo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ash Dafter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Rayo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rayo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dafter circles away quickly and effectively.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dafter.
Rayo lands a nice shot to the body.
Rayo has closed the distance and engaged Dafter in a clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rayo.

Dafter winds up and cracks Rayo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dafter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rayo avoids it really well and circles away.
Rayo tries to close the distance and clinch but Dafter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dafter keeps the fight on the outside.
Rayo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dafter.
Dafter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rayo trying to get back to full guard but Dafter takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Rayo tries to hold on but Dafter pushes him away.
Dafter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rayo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rayo shrugs it off.

Ash Dafter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Dafter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
