Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Makhnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urist McPain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urist McPain is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPain throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Makhnov.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Makhnov.
Makhnov throws a nice head kick!
Horrible takedown by Makhnov or perhaps it was just good defense by McPain which made him look bad.
Urist McPain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makhnov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dimitri Makhnov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from McPain.
McPain throws a sloppy head kick and Makhnov moves out of range easily.

Makhnov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Makhnov advances position into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
McPain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Makhnov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Makhnov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
McPain is looking to regain half guard here but Makhnov keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Makhnov has hold of McPain's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! McPain tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Makhnov cranks the arm and McPain screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from McPain, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
