Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ville die (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiko Hideyoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). die comes to the cage accompanied by redneck. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hideyoshi's choice of entrance music: Forever [Travis Barker Remix]. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, ville die!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aiko Hideyoshi!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

die scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hideyoshi tries to get to full guard but die has control of the leg.

Hideyoshi pushes die off and gets back to his feet.

die wants to pass the guard but Hideyoshi is keeping the position.

and die counters with a shoot takedown. Hideyoshi fights it but they end up in guard.

die has gone for a leg lock! Hideyoshi slips out almost immediately though and dives into die's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hideyoshi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by die, who protects the arm well.
die tries to buck Hideyoshi off but Hideyoshi is having none of it.
die is working hard here to advance position.
die is trying to control Hideyoshi's posture but Hideyoshi avoids it.
The referee asks Hideyoshi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hideyoshi prefers to stall for the moment though.
Hideyoshi is looking to take a break and control but die is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
die wants to control but Hideyoshi postures up.
Hideyoshi cracks die with an elbow. That is naaassty.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round but I would say that ville die will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

die postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hideyoshi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of die, into his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aiko Hideyoshi.

Aiko Hideyoshi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! die's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Hideyoshi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in die's guard.
die not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

die has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hideyoshi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for die.

I think Hideyoshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
