Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Zabitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keast Kann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keast Kann has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Zabitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Keast Kann!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zabitz sprawls well. Zabitz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kann gets slowly back to his feet.
Keast Kann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kann misses the shot to the body.
Zabitz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zabitz sprawls well. Zabitz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kann gets slowly back to his feet.
Kann takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zabitz throws a jab when Kann was well out of range.
Zabitz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kann.
Eli Zabitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keast Kann.
Kann misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zabitz.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zabitz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kann throws a looping overhand right but Zabitz ducks down to avoid it.
Kann takes a swing at Zabitz's ribcage but misses.
Kann scores with the left hand. Zabitz knows he should have avoided that one.
Kann throws a body punch but Zabitz moves out of range.
Kann shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kann throws out a loose jab but Zabitz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kann fails to land the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Kann drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Zabitz being controlled here, momentarily.

Kann drops back looking for a leg! Zabitz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zabitz manages to kick Kann off! Kann jumps back into Zabitz's guard.
Kann looks gassed!
Kann stays in close to Zabitz's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zabitz wants to sweep here but Kann controlling him for the moment.
Zabitz is pulling down on Kann's head. It's preventing any offense from Kann, at least for the moment.

Kann drops back looking for a leg! Zabitz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zabitz manages to kick Kann off! Kann jumps back into Zabitz's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zabitz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Zabitz is pulling down on Kann's head to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eli Zabitz will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zabitz tries to avoid it but Kann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zabitz to the ground. Zabitz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zabitz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zabitz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kann.
Kann fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zabitz avoids it really well and circles away.
Eli Zabitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keast Kann.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kann shoots in for a takedown but Zabitz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kann shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zabitz's guard.
Kann won't allow Zabitz to sweep him here.
Kann slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kann in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Zabitz is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
