PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between shintharo carbonilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brat Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). carbonilla comes to the cage accompanied by ordertaker. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hitman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hitman is working for a submission of some sort.
Hitman wants to advance to full mount but carbonilla doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

carbonilla looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hitman passes into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
carbonilla wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hitman.
carbonilla tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hitman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hitman wants to control the pace but carbonilla is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee warns carbonilla that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
carbonilla regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hitman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Hitman wants to take a breather but carbonilla is having none of it.
carbonilla might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hitman is keen to just control but carbonilla is a slippery customer.

carbonilla tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hitman has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Hitman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brat Hitman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hitman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. carbonilla sprawls well initially but Hitman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brat Hitman.

Hitman is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

carbonilla tries to free his leg and advance position but Hitman is retaining full guard.

carbonilla tries to pull guard but Hitman holds him up against the cage and eventually carbonilla drops back down to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

carbonilla ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. carbonilla no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

carbonilla had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hitman defends it easily.

carbonilla is looking for a triangle but Hitman pushes his legs off easily.

Brat Hitman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hitman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
