The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broph slips a jab and a cross from Augusto.

Broph digs a good body shot into Augusto's ribs.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Augusto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Augusto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Broph manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Augusto has Broph in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Broph is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Augusto is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Augusto has escaped and now he's on top!

Broph is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Broph isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Augusto stacks Broph on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Augusto!

Broph bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Augusto's guard.
