Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Tihuana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarbowsky does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Skarbowsky tries to clinch up.
Skarbowsky throws a sloppy head kick and Tihuana moves out of range easily.
Tihuana takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Skarbowsky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tihuana avoids the head kick by Skarbowsky.
Tihuana sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Skarbowsky gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tihuana to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tihuana is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tihuana pushing down on Skarbowsky's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Tihuana is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Skarbowsky defends it well.

Tihuana is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tihuana is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Skarbowsky is just riding it out for now. Tihuana eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tihuana is taking a breather. Skarbowsky says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Skarbowsky is looking to control Tihuana's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Skarbowsky avoid being mounted?

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Some bone on bone action there as Tihuana checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Tihuana stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Skarbowsky.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tihuana avoids the head kick by Skarbowsky.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Skarbowsky lands a big head kick that sends Tihuana tumbling to the mat! Skarbowsky takes a step backwards and waves Tihuana back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Tihuana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jean Charles Skarbowsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skarbowsky pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Skarbowsky lands a head kick. Tihuana smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Tihuana's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tihuana trying to control the position from guard on top but Skarbowsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tom Tihuana.
Skarbowsky lands a high kick!
Skarbowsky throws the kick towards the body but Tihuana avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Charles Skarbowsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
