Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alikzandr Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alikzandr Emelianenko looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up with Alves, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes Alves against the cage but Alves circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Alves rushes Emelianenko and presses him up against the cage.

Alves escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Alves tries to kick Emelianenko off but Emelianenko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Alves connects with a nice cross there... Emelianenko is looking wobbly and Alves recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Emelianenko to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Alves jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
