Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geghard Movsesian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo The Turtle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Movsesian might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pitchin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Turtle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Movsesian manages to avoid it.
Movsesian throws a solid leg kick but The Turtle takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Movsesian.
Movsesian leaves The Turtle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The Turtle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Movsesian explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Movsesian misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Movsesian looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

It looks like Leonardo The Turtle has been cut.

The Turtle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Movsesian sprawls well initially but The Turtle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The Turtle looks to land a strike but Movsesian avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Movsesian wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Turtle content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Movsesian has locked up a guillotine! Movsesian's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? The Turtle is holding on here and Movsesian must be using up a lot of energy. The Turtle has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Movsesian gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
