Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
oy fails with a takedown attempt.
Tony Jaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
oy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jaa circles away.
Jaa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jaa tries to score a body lock takedown but oy shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jaa fails to pull guard.
Jaa cracks oy with a nice body shot.
Jaa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and oy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jaa!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Jaa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jaa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
oy is working for a guillotine from mount but Jaa frees his head quite easily.
oy looks gassed!
Jaa wants to hold on but oy pushes him away.

oy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jaa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jaa wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Jaa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jaa slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Jaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

oy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jaa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jaa wants to get back to his feet but oy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
oy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jaa is keeping the position for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jaa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and oy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jaa's guard.
oy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and oy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
oy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
oy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

oy passes Jaa's left leg - he's now in half guard.
oy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jaa tries to roll over but oy keeps him under control.
oy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jaa defend it? oy steps over the head and cranks it - Jaa is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for oy!
