Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

GARRETT gets caught flat footed, as Bongo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bongo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

GARRETT is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bongo is trying hard to land a takedown here. GARRETT sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

GARRETT is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

GARRETT got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bongo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, GARRETT has managed to get both his arms back between Bongo's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bongo is breathing heavily.

Bongo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. GARRETT gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
GARRETT throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
GARRETT lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bongo backs up against the cage.


It looks like Coco Bongo has been cut.
GARRETT throws a right and a left that Bongo avoids nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Coco Bongo will probably get the nod.

GARRETT lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by GARRETT.

GARRETT scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bongo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. GARRETT is working away from the top position though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bongo won't allow GARRETT to pass to mount.
GARRETT really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bongo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coco Bongo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

GARRETT wants to get back to his feet.

Bongo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but GARRETT pulls his head out easily.
GARRETT seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bongo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
GARRETT is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bongo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think GARRETT should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bongo has tightened it up now! GARRETT should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
