PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Estevan Ledesma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ledesma comes to the cage accompanied by Mark Ronson ft Q-Tip - Bang Bang. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ledesma shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ledesma showed some decent athleticism there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ledesma has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Estevan Ledesma just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Cheese is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ledesma.

Ledesma closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Ledesma seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cheese for as long as he can get away with.
