Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mirko Filipovic!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron gets the takedown into side control.
Iron lands a decent elbow from side control.
Iron is working Filipovic over with some ground and pound from side control.
Iron is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Filipovic will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Iron postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Filipovic is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Iron has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Iron connects with a nice short shot to Filipovic's temple.

Iron is taking a breather. Filipovic says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Iron drops an elbow to the side of Filipovic's head.

Iron is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Filipovic is looking to improve his position.
Iron winds up and cracks Filipovic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Filipovic trying to hold on to Iron's head to control him but Iron postures up.
Iron slips a nice elbow through Filipovic's hands, connecting with Filipovic's forehead.
Iron throwing shots but Filipovic is blocking nicely.

Filipovic is staying active underneath Iron, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Iron working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Iron is trying to control. Filipovic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Iron lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Iron passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Filipovic!

It looks like Mirko Filipovic has been cut.
Iron unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Filipovic wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Iron celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
