Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ferdinand Marcos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darius Parker!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Marcos swings for the body but Parker moves out of range.
Parker takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Darius Parker has been cut.
Parker throws an overhand right that lands on Marcos's shoulder, as Marcos tries to avoid the shot.
Marcos slips under a jab from Parker.
Marcos lands a nice looking body kick.
Parker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marcos.
Parker throws a lazy right hand but Marcos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Parker misses with an uppercut. Marcos saw that one coming.
Marcos throws a hook but Parker blocks it.

Marcos scores with a takedown into Parker's guard.

Marcos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Parker is trying to hold Marcos in close to prevent damage but Marcos has managed to pass into half guard.
Parker tries to roll over but Marcos keeps him under control.
Marcos misses with a head shot. Parker uses the momentum to regain guard.
Marcos wants to pass the guard but Parker is keeping the position.

Parker wants to sweep here but Marcos controlling him for the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parker misses with a straight right.
Marcos slips under a jab.
Marcos ducks under a wild hook from Parker.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nice takedown defense from Parker. No joy for Marcos on that attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close round but I would say that Ferdinand Marcos will probably get the nod.

Marcos fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Parker.
Marcos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Marcos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ferdinand Marcos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Marcos cracks a nice hook into Parker's ribs.

Parker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Parker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Parker misses the jab.
Marcos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Parker.
Parker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marcos just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Marcos.
Parker throws a lazy right hand but Marcos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marcos tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Marcos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side.
Marcos's corner calls for a 1-2. Marcos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Parker throws a big shot that misses.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Marcos throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease.

Marcos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marcos lands a head kick. Parker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Parker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Parker checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Parker takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Parker avoids the body shot from Marcos.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darius Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Marcos fails with the takedown.
Parker throws the left hand but Marcos avoids the punch easily.
Marcos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Marcos shoots in for a double leg but Parker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marcos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marcos throws a shot from downtown. Parker moves away and avoids it.
Marcos moves away from the strike by Parker.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marcos, right into the meat.

Marcos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parker pinned against the cage. Parker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Marcos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parker keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Parker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Marcos is looking to take a break and control but Parker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marcos content to control rather than advance.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ferdinand Marcos showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Marcos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
