Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Hearst Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ramires might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fly Me To The Moon - By Frank Sinatra. Hogan has chosen The Game as his entrance music. Sonny Ramires has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramires changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hogan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hogan tries to buck Ramires off but Ramires is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Hogan's face as Ramires controls the position.
Ramires wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hogan keeps working.
Hogan is letting Ramires control him for a moment.

Ramires bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A lull in the action here as Ramires stalls from top position.
Ramires tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ramires has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hogan is trying to get back to his feet.
Hogan tries to improve position but can't.
Hogan is trying to escape the position but Ramires is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hogan is trying to get back to half guard.
Ramires in side control, just content to control the action for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Ramires throws a solid leg kick but Hogan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ramires.
Hogan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ramires counters with a good, hard body kick but Hogan shrugs it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ramires lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hogan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hogan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ramires.
Ramires buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hogan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hogan has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Ramires.
Ramires throws a head kick that Hogan semi-blocks.

and Ramires counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hogan is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Hogan leaves Ramires with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hogan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ramires is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hogan.

Sonny Ramires is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

and Ramires makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Ramires throws a leg kick which misses Hogan's front leg but catches the back leg as Hogan tries to avoid it.
Ramires turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
