The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vlad tries to close the distance and clinch but Mourinho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vlad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vlad fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Jose Mourinho has been cut.

Vlad closes the distance and clinches.
Vlad tries for a takedown. No joy.

Mourinho manages to break the clinch.
Vlad swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mourinho swats away the attempt to clinch by Vlad.
Vlad throws a hook but Mourinho avoids it easily.
Mourinho throws a series of punches but Vlad avoids them all with ease.
Mourinho gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Vlad clinches with his opponent.
Vlad is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mourinho is looking to control Vlad's arms but Vlad gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mourinho has his back to the cage.
Vlad working aggressively here.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Vlad throws a punch but it's blocked by Mourinho.
Mourinho blocks an uppercut.
Vlad lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mourinho backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vlad is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Vlad gets through Mourinho's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Mourinho gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vlad.

Mourinho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mourinho throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Wielki Vlad has been cut.

and Mourinho counters with a nice leg kick.

Vlad misses the jab.
Vlad slips a jab and a cross from Mourinho.
Vlad drops Mourinho with a naaaaasty hook - Mourinho is in real trouble here! Vlad dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
