PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Braunstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braunstein shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Braunstein gets slowly back to his feet.
Braunstein leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Braunstein swivels and escapes.

Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Braunstein is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Braunstein circles away and we're back to standing.

Braunstein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Braunstein tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Braunstein's waist but Braunstein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Ron Braunstein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Braunstein swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Braunstein, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
