Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jones Future!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ashton Kane!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Future looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Future thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kane's head.
Well, if Future is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Future. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kane can do anything to dispel that myth.
Future thowing shots but they're missing.

Kane really wants to buck Future off and get back to his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Future shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kane's guard.

Kane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Future with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Future with a flurry of punches that miss.
Future lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Kane utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Future wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.

Kane not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Future wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Future shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kane defends it nicely.

It looks like Jones Future has been cut.
Future shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kane sprawls well. Kane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Future gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Future closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kane circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jones Future. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones Future seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kane lands a body shot.
Kane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kane lands a jab to Future's midsection.
Kane lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Future can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kane and Future drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kane.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ashton Kane!
