Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brent Huthe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jack walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Huthe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rick Derringer - Real American. walker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Doors - Peace Frog. jack walker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brent Huthe's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
walker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Huthe is just out of range.
Huthe tries to close the distance and clinch up but walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

walker is looking to control Huthe's arms but Huthe gets an underhook and turns him. Now walker has his back to the cage.

walker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Huthe is just too persistent for him and manages to trip walker to the mat. walker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

walker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by jack walker.
walker throws a series of punches but Huthe avoids them all with ease.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
