Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans shoots in but Smack avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smack looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Evans goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Peanutbutter Smack has been cut.
Evans shoots in for a double leg but Smack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Evans changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smack tries to avoid it but Evans manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smack to the ground. Smack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smack manages to avoid it.

Smack misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Smack counters with a three punch combo that has Evans backing up. Evans nods at Smack to acknowledge the strikes.

Evans shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smack but Smack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Smack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smack chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Evans can pounce on him.

Smack throws a jab but it's blocked by Evans.

and Evans counters with a thumping low kick.
Nice body kick there by Evans.
Evans changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smack looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Evans has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Smack!
Smack tries to hold on but Evans postures up.
Evans wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Evans is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Smack is surviving well by controlling Evans's body position as best he can.
Evans is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Evans!
