Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Faheem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faheem has chosen Tunak Tunak Tun as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amir Faheem!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha throws a right and a left that Faheem avoids nicely.
Faheem misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Faheem wants to land a leg kick but Alpha is out of range.
Faheem shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alpha as he jumps to the side.
Nice takedown defense from Alpha. No joy for Faheem on that attempt.
Wiley Alpha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Faheem.
Donk. Alpha catches Faheem right on the button with a cross.
Alpha throws a shot from downtown. Faheem moves away and avoids it.
Amir Faheem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faheem pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Alpha blocks a leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Alpha checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Alpha scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Alpha moves out of range of the body kick from Faheem.
Faheem fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Faheem misses with a head kick.

Faheem looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Faheem is thwarting Alpha's attempts to control the position.

Alpha is pressing down on Faheem's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Faheem throwing strikes but missing.
Alpha tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Alpha keeping moving, preventing Faheem from controlling successfully.
Alpha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Faheem!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Alpha controlling the pace for now.
Faheem is looking to improve his position but Alpha isn't that keen on the idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Alpha controlling his opponent.
Alpha tries to control but Faheem wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Alpha thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Faheem tries to control the position but Alpha now has his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Alpha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Alpha bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Faheem's head.
Faheem misses with a head kick.
Alpha connects with a body shot.
Alpha scores with a crisp jab that stopped Faheem in his tracks.
Alpha throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Faheem moves out of range as Alpha strikes.
Alpha fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Faheem manages to avoid it.
Faheem throws a half hearted mid kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Alpha checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Alpha looks to land a combination but Faheem avoids it well.
Alpha defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Faheem.
Faheem takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Faheem takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Alpha cracks Faheem with a good jab.
Faheem throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Alpha throws a good cross that connects.
Faheem shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alpha but Alpha pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Faheem lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Alpha scores with a three punch combo!
Faheem moves out of range of the strikes.
Faheem shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wiley Alpha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Faheem.
Faheem scoring well with a low kick there.
Faheem misses with a leg kick.
Alpha leaves Faheem with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Faheem throws a leg kick but Alpha checks it.
Wiley Alpha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alpha works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Alpha waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Faheem.
Alpha comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Faheem lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alpha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alpha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Alpha looks to land a combination. Faheem sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Faheem is breathing heavily.
Alpha throws a hook but Faheem blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Faheem takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Faheem is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alpha throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Faheem stumbling backwards into the cage! Faheem bounces back off the cage towards Alpha, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Alpha lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Alpha celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
