Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sid Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cro Crap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sid Thunder has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder has a takedown stuffed.

Cro Crap takes the fight into the clinch.

Cro Crap keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thunder changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Thunder closes the distance and clinches up with Cro Crap, looking for a takedown. Thunder pushes Cro Crap against the cage but Cro Crap circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cro Crap uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thunder.
Thunder looks to throw the jab but Cro Crap is out of range.

so Thunder counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cro Crap should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cro Crap escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thunder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Thunder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cro Crap swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Thunder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thunder postures up in Cro Crap's guard and throws a big left but Cro Crap blocks it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Cro Crap gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Cro Crap is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Thunder cracks Cro Crap with a solid left hand.
Cro Crap wants to sweep but no luck.

Cro Crap is pulling down on Thunder's head. It's preventing any offense from Thunder, at least for the moment.

Cro Crap avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cro Crap connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Thunder tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Thunder is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cro Crap wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thunder keeps working.

Thunder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Thunder can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cro Crap is looking to escape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thunder cracks Cro Crap with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Cro Crap from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Cro Crap defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Thunder's arms.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Thunder swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Thunder throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cro Crap colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Thunder as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cro Crap is left battered and dazed whilst Thunder and his camp cheer!
