Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Natush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Natush comes to the cage accompanied by Careless Whisper. Porter has chosen Vicarious by Tool as his entrance music. Daniel Porter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donald Natush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Porter!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Natush throws a right and a left that Porter avoids nicely.
Porter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Porter lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Porter lands a nice looking kick to the body. Natush takes a step back to recover.
Natush fails with the takedown.
Natush shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Porter pinned against the cage. Porter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A combination from Natush does no damage.
Natush is breathing heavily.
Natush throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Porter.
A decent looking cross lands there for Porter.
Porter cracks Natush with a good jab.


It looks like Donald Natush has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Porter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
An inside leg kick lands from Porter.
Porter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Natush's calf.
A head kick misses from Porter.
Porter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Natush.
Natush drops Porter with a beautiful combination! Porter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Natush is looking for the KO!

It looks like Daniel Porter has been cut.
Porter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Porter is still on wobbly legs! Can Natush finish him?
Natush throws a left and a right that both miss
and Porter makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Natush misses with a jab, cross combination.

Porter throws a right and a left that Natush avoids nicely.
Natush comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Porter seems to have recovered his senses.

and Porter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Natush.

Porter throws a head kick that Natush semi-blocks.

Natush drives through with a powerful takedown. That's hurt Porter!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Porter trying to hold on to Natush's head to control him but Natush postures up.
Natush is stalling here. Porter is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Natush seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Porter has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Natush manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Natush is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Natush is squirming around, avoiding Porter's attempts to control the action.
Porter avoids the attempt from Natush to control.
Porter looking to control but Natush is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Natush is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Natush is trying desperately to improve position.
Natush is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Porter is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Porter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Natush's head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Horrible takedown by Natush or perhaps it was just good defense by Porter which made him look bad.

and Porter counters with a nice leg kick.

That's time! Natush's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Natush rushes Porter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Natush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Porter blocks a jab.
Natush shoots in but no luck this time.
A big left from Porter misses.
Porter lands a two punch combo.

and Natush counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Porter's guard now.
Natush passes Porter's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Porter is looking to control Natush's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Porter avoid being mounted?

Natush working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Natush cracks Porter with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Poor strikes thrown by Natush there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Porter sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Porter is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Natush's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Natush's back!
I really don't envy Natush right now.
Natush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Porter is looking for the choke from the back position but Natush is controlling his hands well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Porter is looking to control Natush but Natush is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Natush tries to roll but Porter sticks to his back.
Porter is not going to allow Natush to sit and survive in this position.
Porter keeps control of the position as Natush tries to break free.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Porter doesn't have the hooks in and Natush manages to turn into his guard.

Natush shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Porter as he avoids it easily.
Porter blocks a head kick by Natush.
Porter lands with a nice body kick.
Porter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Porter lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Porter.

and Natush counters with a nice double leg into side control. Porter won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Natush wants to control but Porter is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Porter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Porter tests Natush's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Porter throws a series of punches but Natush avoids them all with ease.

Natush changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Porter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Natush looking to control but instead Porter has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Natush is keen to just control but Porter is a slippery customer.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Donald Natush.
I think Natush has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
