Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodger Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanaka Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Mjød, Kvelartak. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi scores with a shot to the body.
Gomi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tyson on the side of the head.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gomi as he jumps to the side.
Gomi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tyson.
Gomi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tyson is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A combination from Gomi does no damage.
Gomi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tyson tries to clinch up but Gomi circles away and keeps his distance.
Gomi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyson dives in and grabs Gomi 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gomi pushes down on Tyson's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodger Tyson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gomi as he jumps to the side.
Tyson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gomi .

Oh, that's a big right hand from Gomi and Tyson goes tumbling to the canvas! Gomi follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Tyson is rocked!

Tyson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gomi pulls his head out easily.
Oh Tyson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gomi wants to stand up but Tyson has a hold of him and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gomi decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Tyson seems to have got his legs back now.
Tyson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tyson misses with a wild body shot.
Gomi connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Tyson! He's out on his feet! Gomi rushes in and drops Tyson with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tanaka Gomi !
