The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Stone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Stone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Stone wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
Silva trying to control from the bottom.
Stone prevents Silva from improving his position.
Silva is looking to control Stone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?

Silva is staying active underneath Stone, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Stone sits in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Silva throws a nice head kick!
Stone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Stone persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone wants to clinch
and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Stone will be more careful next time no doubt.

Stone misses with a two punch combination.
Silva closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Stone wants to clinch but Silva slips to the side

and Silva counters by clinching up.

Stone turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Stone decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Stone misses with a takedown attempt
and Silva counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Silva looks at the referee who does nothing so Silva lands a crushing right that sends Stone to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
