The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iam stuffs the takedown.
Iam looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nice sprawl there from Iam as Glover shoots in.

Glover closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Iam to the mat! Iam manages to get full guard.
Iam keeping moving, preventing Glover from controlling successfully.
Glover wants to get up but he can't break Iam's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Iam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glover. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Iam is working an open guard so Glover takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Glover looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Iam is fending him off so far but Glover persists. Nope, Iam circles away and we're back to standing.

Glover throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Iam was covering up waiting for the punch and Glover finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Glover seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Iam does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Glover is really struggling to control Iam but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dandre Glover.
Glover lands with a kick to the ribs.

and Glover holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Some wild striking there from Iam.
Glover closes the distance and clinches up with Iam, looking for a takedown. Glover pushes Iam against the cage but Iam circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Glover or perhaps it was just good defense by Iam which made him look bad.

Iam's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Glover tries to control but Iam wriggling away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Iam is squirming around, avoiding Glover's attempts to control the action.

Glover gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Glover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Iam's waist but Iam gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glover off to one side.

Iam misses with a wild combination.
Glover tries to score with a low kick but Iam moves his leg out of the way.

Glover looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
