Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Winters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Beer!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Winters throws a head kick that misses.

Beer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Winters did well to prevent Beer getting side control.
Winters works his way to full guard. Good work.
Beer thows a big elbow that misses.
Beer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Winters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Winters looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beer is one step ahead there.
Winters looking to control.
Winters keeping full guard, as Beer tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Winters winds up and cracks Beer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Winters is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Winters goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Beer turns into him and now he's in Winters's guard.
Winters wants to stand and escape but Beer is having none of it.

Winters is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Beer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Winters swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Winters had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beer defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alan Winters dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Beer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Winters is trying to maintain the position but Beer is very close to passing his half guard.
Winters manages to get to full guard.
Winters bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beer's guard.

Winters is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Winters wants to pass the guard but Beer is keeping the position.
Winters sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Winters trying to control but Beer is working from the bottom.
Winters passes Beer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Winters is looking to take a break and control but Beer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Winters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beer is just riding it out for now. Winters eventually gives up the hold.
Beer pushes Winters off looking to stand but Winters dives back in and keeps control.

Winters is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Beer sees it coming and defends easily.

Winters is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Winters trying to control from half guard but Beer is working away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Beer kicks off Winters and gets to his feet.
Winters throws a series of punches but Beer avoids them all with ease.
Winters fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Beer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Alan Winters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beer gets caught flat footed, as Winters shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Beer has his foot on Winters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Winters works his way back into a safe position though.

Winters is thwarting Beer's attempts to control the position.
Beer is refusing to be controlled, as Winters sits in half guard.

A close second round but Daniel Beer will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Winters is on top in guard.

Winters stands up and waves to Beer to follow him.

Winters feints and as Beer raises his hands in defense, Winters changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Winters stands and steps away. Beer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Beer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Winters avoids a punch combination nicely.

Winters connects with a high kick.
Winters tries for a takedown but Beer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beer has his takedown stuffed
and Winters counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Beer fails with the takedown

and Winters counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Winters.

Winters gets to his feet. Beer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Winters shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beer is trying to defend but Winters finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Winters passes to full mount!

Winters working for a guillotine from mount but Beer is in no mood to give up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Winters prevents Beer from getting the reversal.
Winters with shots to the head and body - Beer looks very uncomfortable down there.

Winters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Beer is looking to escape.
Winters sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Winters lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Winters working the ground and pound effectively.
Winters fails to move to back control.
Winters controlling the pace for now.
Beer has given up his back here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Winters has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Beer is defending well but eventually Winters manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Beer has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
