The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws a jab but it's blocked by Fukiko.
Richards misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fukiko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fukiko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Richards tries to clinch up.

It looks like Ryuzo Fukiko has been cut.

Richards motions for Fukiko to come forward. Richards throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Richards throws out a loose jab but Fukiko uses good head movement to avoid it.

Still in the clinch, Richards scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fukiko tries to break free but Richards pushes him back against the cage.

Fukiko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Richards wants to clinch up but Fukiko keeps it at a distance.
Richards ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Richards misses with a straight left.
Fukiko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fukiko slips a straight right by Richards.
Richards misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Richards tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fukiko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Richards is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fukiko.
Richards throws a series of punches but Fukiko avoids them all with ease.
Richards scores with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fukiko blocks a jab.
Ryuzo Fukiko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Richards dips to his left and cracks Fukiko with an uppercut!
Fukiko lands a big uppercut and Richards crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Richards looks OK. Fukiko waves Richards back to his feet!
Richards is rocked!
Fukiko lands a brutal uppercut that launches Richards off his feet! Richards tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
