Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ninja Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Glorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid's entrance music is Stratovarius - Hunting High and Low. A fine choice. Dave Glorian will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glorian throws a hook but Kid avoids it easily.
Glorian closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kid did well to prevent Glorian getting side control.
Kid is in trouble now - Glorian has advanced to mount!
Kid wants to control but Glorian is having none of it.
Kid's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kid gets back to half guard.
Glorian is looking to take a break and control but Kid is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kid sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Glorian is desperately trying to improve his position but Kid has a good base and remains in mount.
Kid is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Glorian to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Glorian shrugs it off.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Glorian is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Glorian.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kid shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Glorian manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Glorian is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dave Glorian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Glorian is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kid's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kid's back!

Well Glorian has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
