The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate throws a leg kick but Hunt checks it.
Hunt tries to clinch but Tate moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hunt checks a leg kick.
Tate bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hunt's head backwards.
Tate misses with a hook. Hunt ducked under it nicely.
Tate cracks Hunt with an open hand slap.

It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut.
Heck Tate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tate throws the kick towards the body but Hunt avoids it.
Tate throws a hook but Hunt avoids it easily.
No joy there for Tate, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tate throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tate swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hunt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tate.
Tate throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hunt staying out of range there.

Hunt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hunt has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tate uses from the top position.
Tate has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hunt is proving hard to escape from.

Tate has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hunt to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tate is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hunt pulls down on the head and he's put Tate to sleep! This one is all over!
