Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chirstopher Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Dundee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chirstopher Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Dundee!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charles defends it nicely.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dundee takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A lazy left from Charles finds it's target.
Charles throws a push kick but Dundee slaps the foot to one side.
Dundee is looking to clinch but Charles is avoiding it.
Dundee misses with a takedown attempt - Charles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chirstopher Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Dundee.

Charles does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The crowd cheers as Charles lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dundee doesn't seem phased though.
Charles shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Charles leaves Dundee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dundee fails with the takedown.
Dundee looks gassed!
Dundee is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Charles.


It looks like Paul Dundee has been cut.
Charles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dundee.
Charles lands a jab to the head.

Charles catches Dundee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Charles lands a left and a right that send Dundee crashing to the mat, dazed. Charles thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dundee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


The cut above Paul Dundee's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Chirstopher Charles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Charles tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Charles scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Charles misses with a wild combination.

Dundee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Paul Dundee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Charles uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dundee has time to react.
Dundee looks for a takedown but Charles sprawls well.

Nice takedown defense from Charles. No joy for Dundee on that attempt.

Paul Dundee's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Charles as he avoids it easily.
Charles scores with a nice strike.
Charles buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dundee checks a leg kick.
Charles cracks Dundee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dundee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charles defends it nicely.

Charles is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Charles tries a low kick but Dundee avoids it.
Dundee fails with a takedown attempt.
Dundee gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Charles.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Dundee's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chirstopher Charles!
